Senior Researcher — Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing

We are seeking FTQC Researchers with expertise in key areas of quantum technology who want to play a pivotal role in advancing our quantum computing efforts.
Your work may focus on areas such as quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, quantum software engineering, or co-designing hardware implementations using platforms like trapped ions, superconductors, or neutral atoms. Qualifications
- Education: A Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. A PhD or postdoctoral experience is preferred.
- Specializations: Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Fault Tolerance and Quantum Error Correction
- Small-Scale Quantum Algorithms and Applications, NISQ expertise may be of help.
- Software Engineering and Development
- Quantum Computing Hardware
- Experience:
- Early-Career Professionals: A strong academic foundation in quantum mechanics, quantum computing, or relevant research/projects is essential. Familiarity with advanced topics such as condensed matter theory, quantum field theory, or quantum optics is a plus.
- Experienced Professionals: Demonstrated industry or research experience in quantum technologies or high-tech fields is highly valued, particularly with a proven ability to lead and complete collaborative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research and development for both theoretical and experimental ion-trap quantum computing systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams towards developing quantum algorithms and designing fault-tolerant quantum hardware.
- Design, simulate, and test advanced quantum error correction schemes with a primary focus on fault-tolerant quantum computing.
